(Senior) Data Analyst - Sales (f/m/x)

As a (Senior) Data Analytics Sales (m/f/x), you will act as the strategic data partner to our Sales team, proactively translating campaign, traffic, and advertiser performance data into clear insights, commercial recommendations, and measurable business impact.

Your work will directly shape how we grow and manage B2B advertiser relationships, turning open commercial questions into structured analyses and actionable insights. By connecting campaign performance, traffic quality, CPI/revenue metrics, and advertiser profitability to broader business objectives, you’ll empower the Sales team to make confident, data-driven decisions while building dashboards and tools that provide a clear view of opportunities and optimize value across the marketplace.

What You’ll Own
  • Partner with the Sales team to manage and grow B2B advertiser relationships through data-driven insights.
  • Monitor campaign performance, traffic quality, CPI, revenue, and advertiser-level profitability.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations for campaign upscaling, downscaling, and optimization.
  • Support strategic sales decisions with quantitative analysis and commercial impact modeling.
  • Enable the Sales team with clear advertiser performance narratives and benchmarking insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting to support commercial decision-making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across advertiser portfolios to improve revenue and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to improve tracking, measurement, and data quality.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of performance data across systems and platforms.


What Success Looks Like
  • Advertiser growth through actionable insights: Your insights directly influence scaling decisions, pricing discussions, and partnership strategies, leading to stronger revenue growth and advertiser retention.
  • Commercial and product economics are aligned: Marketing, Product, and Sales operate on shared definitions of LTV, contribution margin, and performance KPIs, enabling unified decision-making.
  • Commercial insights are clear and actionable: Complex performance data is translated into compelling sales arguments and strategic recommendations.
  • Performance risks and opportunities are identified early: Proactively surface trends that impact advertiser success and business outcomes.
Your profile
  • Experienced: 4+ years of experience in data analytics within performance marketing, adtech, affiliate marketing, or a similar commercial environment. Experience working with B2B advertisers is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of advertiser economics: Solid grasp of B2B revenue models, advertiser economics, and the drivers behind CPI, ROAS, LTV, margins, and profitability.
  • Performance-driven analytical mindset: Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics, attribution logic, and traffic quality evaluation. Able to translate complex campaign data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong skills in SQL and Python for analysis and automation; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau or similar) for dashboarding.
  • Communication & Influence: Ability to present insights convincingly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly Sales teams, and influence decision-making through structured, data-driven argumentation.
  • Independent and solution-oriented mindset: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, international environments and independently translating complex business questions into clear, actionable analyses.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
