Permanent employee

Your Mission

This is a company built for growth.

When you join exmox, you're stepping onto a global, highly competitive playing field, solving real problems in environments that push you beyond your comfort zone. We move fast, cut the noise, and focus on what actually matters, because in our industry, speed wins. We build high-performing consumer products in one of the most competitive industries there is: mobile gaming, leading one of its largest innovations, a rewarded user engagement and acquisition platform that helps publishers acquire and retain players through rewarding experiences.

We’re looking for a Vice President of Revenue. We’re not looking for someone just to manage revenue, we’re looking for someone to own it.

You will own Key Account Management and Sales and will actively collaborate with marketing, product, data and controlling to bring the team under one shared goal: scalable and predictable revenue growth.

You will be in charge of triple digit million euros in revenue which has grown by ca. 200% over the last 2 years. Your mission is to lead, structure, and optimize how exmox grows today and in the future - to become one of Europe’s largest new technology companies.

Here’s what that means day-to-day:

  • Drive company-wide revenue growth: Oversee all levers that impact company turnover and performance.

  • Set our growth strategy: Define how we reach the right partners and advertisers, where we focus, and how we scale sustainably - all in a structured and driven manner.

  • Build high-performing teams: You lead by example and have a natural ability to inspire others to grow. You have experience coaching, hiring, and empowering talented people creating an environment that’s open, structured, data-driven, and execution-focused.

  • Lead, shape and structure a team that’s both analytical and commercially driven. People who can translate insights into action.

  • Own our numbers: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to keep us on track and transparent.

  • Create strategic partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with advertisers, ad networks, and strategic brands (think Payback, Revolut, etc.) that accelerate growth.

  • Connect the dots: Align Marketing, Sales, and Controlling so everyone moves in the same direction, with clear KPIs and shared goals.

  • Challenge and shape the product: Work closely with our Product and Tech teams to make sure what we build also drives revenue and fits the market.

  • Develop business cases: Work closely with Product and Data to identify and prioritize features that empower Marketing and Sales to scale faster.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership:

  • Have 10+ years of experience leading either commercial, BD, account management teams or user acquisition and performance marketing teams, ideally at a senior (VP/SVP/C-level) role.

  • You understand what drives revenue and can read the full story behind the numbers.

  • You might have started your career in consulting (like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.) or a similar strategic role, but not required. Analytical and strategic thinking is important.

  • You’re comfortable with budget planning, forecasting, and P&L ownership.

  • You have the gravitas to engage with key partners and clients but focus on empowering your teams to drive the business forward.

  • You’re great at bringing teams together, setting direction, and communicating clearly from boardroom to brainstorming.

  • You excel at structuring and scaling teams. You know how to create focus, accountability, and motivation.

  • You’re curious about products and data and know how to use both to make smarter decisions.

  • Fluent in English (Other languages are a plus).

  • Based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg. We work hybrid — home on Mon/Fri, in the office Tue–Thu.

How We Win

  • Speed is the feature. Speed beats rocket science. We move fast, test fast, and multiply our pace with AI, because action creates information and small wins compound. A fast failure is a lesson we learn from, a slow one is a problem we can't afford.
  • Focus on the essential. Done is better than perfect. We stay focused on what actually moves us forward and protect people's time from anything that doesn't. We're direct in how we communicate too, no rambling, no unnecessary detail.
  • See it. Own it. Solve it. The first to see it is best placed to fix it. We're not a place for comfort, we're a place for doers. "Not my job" isn't in our vocabulary, if you spot something, you help make sure it gets solved.
  • Respect others. Trust multiplies. Respect is non-negotiable. We disagree with ideas, never with people. Trust here is built the same way it is anywhere, through consistency, a thank you, a moment of listening, and owning your mistakes.
  • Perks that help you focus on what matters. Transport subsidy, learning budget, wellness and gym, workation, bi-weekly team lunches, and more. The perks are great, but the real reason people join and stay is the challenge, the ownership, and the drive to win together.
