As a Senior Economy Designer (m/f/x), you will join the Product Live Operations team and shape the in-app economy across our rewarded apps. Working closely with Product, Data, and Design, ensure rewards, incentives, and progression systems are balanced, engaging, and aligned with our business goals.
In this role, you will analyze user behavior, engagement patterns, and economic flows to optimize retention, progression, and monetization while building scalable economies that support both player engagement and sustainable business outcomes.
What You’ll Own:
- Design and continuously optimize a hybrid economy combining real cash rewards, virtual currencies, and meta-progression systems such as streaks, boosters, and luck-based mechanics.
- Model and manage money flow, including sinks, sources, inflation, and deflation to ensure economic stability.
- Define and refine reward loops that drive retention, habit formation, engagement beyond core advertiser offers, and sustainable payout costs.
- Develop and tune specific reward mechanics, including daily/weekly streaks, time- or condition-based reward boosters, and randomized reward systems (e.g., slot machine–style mechanics).
- Partner closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to translate economy concepts into actionable systems.
- Run simulations, A/B tests, and live balancing experiments to validate and improve economy designs.
- Monitor live economy KPIs and proactively adjust payout ratios, reward availability, and progression curves.
- Document economy logic clearly to ensure alignment and understanding across internal teams.
